Session Management

Sessions represent individual class meetings within a course. Each session has its own date, time, location, and optional materials. Sessions are automatically generated from the course schedule or can be manually created and edited.

Session Overview

Sessions are a separate post type linked to courses. You can access sessions in two ways:

Reordering Sessions

Sessions display in order on the course page. By default, they're ordered by date. You can also manually set the order:

  1. Edit the session you want to reorder.
  2. Look for the "Order" field in the Publish metabox or session settings.

Deleting Sessions

To delete a session:

  1. Go to Classerna > Sessions.
  2. Hover over the session you want to delete.
  3. Click "Trash" in the row actions.
Warning: Deleting a session also removes all materials attached to it. This action can be undone by restoring from the Trash within 30 days.

Bulk Actions

Perform actions on multiple sessions at once:

  1. Check the boxes next to the sessions you want to modify.
  2. Select an action from the "Bulk Actions" dropdown.
